Totally saved our dinner out tonight!! Went to one restaurant that completely let us down tonight!! The staff is so friendly here… fajitas were delicious!! The Cadillac margarita was freshly made and smooth.. Definitely give this place a try when you in Puerto Vallarta you…won’t be disappointed!More
Best ceviche in PV. Unreal shrimp tacos cooked with peppers. So tasty. A great place for lunch, ask for Jasmine she is such a good waitress. Go for happy hour and have a few Jalapeño or Pepino margaritas. We will be back!!
Clubhouse was the best deal. It is very flavourful with real chicken and pieces of bacon. Have had a few at different resorts in Mexico and this was the best ever. It could easily have been split between my husband and I. A portion of…French fries. I would Have done 5 star but they allow smoking in the restaurant. While many at the marina have made it mandatory that people step outside to smoke even in the patio setting. Anyone smoking next to someone eating is the worst !!!!More
The service absolutely horrible, and the food (while it may seem impossible) was even worse!! My wife and son had the 2 for 1 ribs, I had the Brando Burger. They said the ribs were ok, but the chicken wings we ordered for appetizer were…absolutely inedible!! No way around it, I actually SPIT the food out it was that bad…flavor was “off” and whatever weird gelatinous sauce that they were floating in was nothing from this planet. Back to my burger….NO flavor whatsoever, and I am NOT a salt or must have BOLD flavor person, but this hunk of meat like substance and the “bacon” and cheese had ZERO flavor, then to top it off (literally) the bun was so OLD that it literally fell apart when i picked up this “sandwich”. Old, dry and crumbly bread with flavorless meat in between, NOT an experience i will ever endure again. Will NEVER eat there againMore
The best thing about our dinner was the Coca Cola I had to drink. The service was terrible we had to ask for everything and our food took forever. The waiter blamed the cook for taking so long because he was “new”. The food was…as terrible as the service. We had the shrimp fettuccine pasta the shrimp were terribly over cooked so they were chewy and the fettuccine pasta tasted nothing like fettuccine it was watered down and had no flavor! Avoid Brando’s restaurant, in fact avoid the Marina for dinner many restaurants are closed permanently so there are very few decent dinner establishments. Oh on top of bad food and service people are smoking in the restaurant so you inhale second hand smoke during your meal.????????????????????????????????????More
Brando’s looks like most other bar / restaurants in The Marina area of PV however it has for sure the coldest beer !!! They also have great margirita’s. Nice open area bar and good ‘people watching’ – they also have a great happy hour.
Went last night, during Thursday night market, at the marina. Place is way too, Smokey, it is suppose to be a Family Restaurant/Bar. I would not want to bring children, here- I decided to do take out, for the above reason. The rib price on…menu did not reflect price on the bill, they had a feeble, excuse, Oh, it is an old menu………actually…,…. it is, false advertising!!!!! Ordered a house salad, it was missing a few ingredient’s like the chopped apples. The Rib’s were fair, in flavour. The salad was good, would have been better with the chopped apple’s. Would I return? No!More
After a successful fishing trip we took our Jack Cravelle to Brando’s for an evening dinner later on. The cook did a fantastic job cooking this dark fish with garlic and butter on the grill and making fish sticks as well as a salad with…this fish mixed in. The place is a little small but does a real nice job and the service is excellent.More
We went with friends for a few drinks and some quick eats. Our server was quick and made sure we always had a fresh beverage on a clean dry table. Their kitchen was closed the day we were there due to some renovations but our…server was more than happy to bring menus from the restaurant next door and a happy Server from that restaurant to assist us. We had many drinks and some good food, plus our server did not mark up any costs for the food, he just wanted to make our visit at their little pub a good time. GREAT service , good prices and we have heard their cook makes great snacks too. We will be back.More
If you are looking for a Michelada this is the place, don’t care about the looks of the bar. The owner is helpful and aware of his business, the staff is very friendly, you are likely to find expats. They have pool table and Marina…View, the food is good.More
The service is great and food is excellant ,but when they start to mesuring the shots going in to my drink in Mexico i stop going there . That is going to far . Bussiness are hurting here and if they keep that up they…will close . Every where else we go the drinks are great . That is what most people go for as they all have the same type of food .More
This was market night on Thursdays, by 7:30 every restaurant is packed with a queue. We found a table here and wanted the 2 for 1 ribs, unfortunately they were sold out. We ordered the fish and chips and were pleasantly surprised at 5 decent…pieces of fish and plenty of fries. The food tasted great, the fish was lightly battered and plentiful, assisted finishing my wife’s meal, SO FULL now. The server apologized for the speed of service as the computer system crashed and the tickets reverted back to manual. This place was hopping this night, live music can be heard from next door, pool tables deeper inside. Only a single washroom though.More
I have been there many times. Always in the late afternoon or evening. Bartenders are very friendly and prompt with the service. It is located on the south end of the marina.
We stopped for cocktails…they were delicious and ‘huge’!!! At least the Margaritas were!!! Service was a bit slow…but still ok.
Stop in and see Ricky! Great wings and other food! Try the Don Julio 1942 anejo tequila! I have been friends with Ricky for 10 years. Stop in and say hi!
