The time waiting for a table was worth every minute. We ate there 3 times in March 2022. The food was high quality and the white table cloth service was enjoyable. The fresh made breads and pizza dough was mmmmm yummy. Do not miss out…on this delicious meal while at Sunscape.More

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, food is great and drinks are amazing! Francisco was our server every time we went there which was 3 times and we would ask for him each time since he performed an amazing job! He was very attentive…and would recommend and prepare the best drinks ever!! We even decided to celebrate my son’s birthday there due to his courteous service! Overall expiration was awesome!More
Dining at Da Mario was definitely the highlight of our trip in February! The food and daily specials were phenomenal — everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared! The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable; lighting was perfect but not overpowering, it was quiet and a nice…way to unwind from the day, and it was exciting to watch the chef make homemade pizza through the glass window. The service is what really made dining here special! From Esmeralda taking our reservation, to Brandon and Roberto taking our orders, serving us, and wishing us well, we could not have asked for better service! By the time I realized my drink was near empty, they had already provided a second one. Brandon and Roberto even took the time and effort to prepare and serve us a flaming cocktail right before our eyes! By the end of the week, our staff knew our names, and we were genuinely upset when we had to say goodbye. I highly recommend dining at Da Mario any chance you get!More
We ate at DaMario twice during our week stay. It was wonderful. Food was delicious, service was amazing. My husband and I went with two other couples and the second time we ate there we had a private room. A great big thank you to…Cesar, Ricardo, Roberto and Miguel. They were so attentive, lots of fun and took very good care of us! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!More
All in this restaurant it´s amazing. The food is so delicious, the personal are very friendly, especially the captain Rodrigo, Angélica and Brando. Definitely i will come back at this restaurant.
Great service and change from the regular hotel experiences. It is a darker, romantic Italian restaurant. The staff was extremely professional and friendly – with added little experiences added into the dessert portion. All the reveiws and conversation at check-in at this hotel was about the Italian Restaurant- the only one in the hotel where reservations were taken. We waited 30 minutes for a table and we disapointed by the experience. The Caprese was average, a poor quality…of Mozzarella did not help. The meals were okay, as was the service, but not deserving of the hypeMore
The food at this restaurant was awesome. My only complaint was that the portions were very very small but we solved that by ordering a pizza after our meals. Other people in our group went on a different night and the portions were so much…larger. Who know what happened. In any case the food was great. Nwould definitely go back.More
My family stayed at Sunscape Resorts & Spas Puerto Vallarta and enjoyed our dinners at Da Mario all the nights we stayed there. The food was delicious and the staff (Enrique, Ricardo, Jose, Pascual, Angelica) made us feel comfortable and at home. If we have…another opportunity we will definitely return to Da Mario. On our last night, the staff prepared a special dessert for our youngest daughter with best wishes for our travel back home. We’ve been to a few resorts (with higher ratings than Sunscape) in Mexico, but the dining experience at Da Mario has so far been the best and made our time at Sunscape memorable!More
My family and I stayed at the Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa and learned it had an Italian restaurant. We visited twice. The waiter Jose Partida went above and beyond his duties to makes us feel comfortable and took really good care of us….Excellent dinning environment and very good food.More
