This restaurant is well priced. It’s not outstanding food but it’s good. You can enjoy your meal here with a glass of wine and not feel like you have thrown away money. The setting is very pleasant as they decorated in the essence of Italy….We will certainly eat here again.More
Pasta was mediocre. Frito mix to was good. Service seems somewhat “ who cares “ Overall a disappointment as we have enjoyed la dolce vita over the years.
Lovely restaurant and great service. Ate here twice and both times the food was lovely and the service excellent. Reasonably priced.
The pizza I had was the “Ferrari” and it was delicious! Lovely wine, great ambiance. A lovely evening to change it up!
We made reservations for anniversary, the place was filthy, tables never wiped, or disinfected the place was not COVID disinfectant, not even hand sanitizer,. The food super salty ,cold , crappy , low quality produce, cherry on top pizza was burned and coffee cold and…horrible, never go back there and we will not recommended .EVER. NASTY ALL AROUND. SHAME ON YOU.More
We are in Puerto Vallarta for two weeks for our wedding anniversary. La Dolce is right across from Where we were staying. We LOVED the restaurant so much, we have eaten there 3 times in the 10 days we have been here so far. Our…food server for the last 2 times was Hector. He was so friendly and attentive. He provided exceptional service. The food is amazing; from the handcrafted pasta to delectable pizzas, everything was awesome. The restaurant is great location for celebrations. They have a song they play in the restaurant and a firework that goes on top of the dessert. We highly recommend this restaurant!!!More
Went here for a lighter bite (but they have much more). Shared a Margarita pizza and each had a salad. Some of the other dishes coming out looked very good!! All food very good, good service. Chairs were very comfortable and nice environment. Some bigger…tables and one group was celebrating a birthday which would be great here. Apple streudal for dessert, huge portion. Different than what we see in US, but very yum.More
The first time my husband and I went here, it was for a sit down dinner. My husband had the beef medallions and I had the 4 cheese pasta. Both were very good! The service was also fantastic! The second time, we sat at the…bar for a beer while waiting for our takeaway pizza and salad. Again, no complaints!More

Hector and Jorge are the best ???? Plus the rest of the staff are lovely. The food is amazing above and beyond.
I have eaten dinner here twice. I can’t say enough good stuff about it. We enjoyed the entire meal start to finish (calamari, pizza, drinks, etc). The waiter was attentive and quick to respond to requests. Lastly, the bill was easy on the wallet. (????)
My husband and I ate at La Dolce twice on our vacation – both times, the food was delicious, staff was attentive, friendly, professional – beautiful ambiance inside the restaurant. We will be back next year. A special thank you to Fredrico for wine suggestions!
First of all, the mapped location of La Dolce on the TripAdvisor map is incorrect, which caused some confusion trying to locate. It is not located on Hwy 200, but adjacent to the Argentina Steakhouse on Avenue Fluvial Vallarta. (The Google map location is more…accurate.) The ambience of the restaurant is very nice: Italian modern. Staff were professional, polite, prompt and helpful. I had an arugula salad, spaghetti carbonara and Tiramisu. Very tasty meal, with large portions. Very good value for money. The restaurant started to fill up early on a Saturday evening, so a reservation is recommended, if coming in the mid-evening. Recommended.More
After the first bite of my spaghetti carbonara, I was hooked. Excellent flavor, lots of bacon, good pasta with a rich cream sauce. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, another Excellent choice and with their 150 pesos prices, good value. At first I…thought the portion were small but after the meal I was full. The next table ordered pizza that looked good. I think they have done some renovations because the signage and look of the building has changed from pictures on here and the location is around the corner from where it is listed.More
Want something different for dinner while visiting Puerto Vallarta? This is the place. Beautiful ambiance with great service and very good food. We visited it twice and were pleased both times.
