Amazing pizza, drinks, service and ambiance. Highly recommend if looking for outstanding pizza in Mexico! One pizza was enough for 2 adults. They let you have it made with different toppings on either side.

New dining room is small, nice, modern with around five tables. I do miss the larger courtyard dining room. But same great pizza, pasta and salads. Good prices and excellent service by Rafael and his crew. Take Out available.

Whilst on holiday we visited this restaurant for a pizza. My husband (who is Italian) is very fussy about pizza! The pizza was really nice, so much so we went back on the Monday…closed, we checked the website, Monday was closing day, open every other…day it said. No worries, we went back on Tuesday (another taxi ride) closed again!! Real shame, I will recommend it but don’t expect it to be open!!More

This little Italian restaurant is a hidden gem. We have walked by many times before trying it. The courtyard dining room is hidden in the back. La Notte Pizza is a third-generation Italian restaurant. First run by the grandfather and now by his grandson, Rafael….When we first went, we thought he was the waiter but after a few conversations we found out he was one of the owners. He is a busy guy but very personable and shared some of his story. Living in England when he was young and developing an English accent…charming. Also a few stories about many his trips and travels in Europe where he trained in Italian culinary schools. We stayed in Puerto Vallarta for a month, and this is the only restaurant we ate at four times. Salads, pizzas, pastas, desserts and more. Great menu and good prices. Loved the sauce on the pizza, a lite tomato puree, not a thick paste which I really dislike. Hand baked in their pizza oven. When we ordered pasta, it was served with bread. They baked their dough into a loaf of bread and baked it fresh in the pizza oven, so delicious. The pasta was excellent. Their Tiramisu was authentic Italian homemade. They have expanded their hours from Wed. thru Sun., evenings only.More

Great little Italian restaurant in our neighborhood. Got a pizza to go. Salami, mushroom, pepper and added olives. Wow, so good. Hand baked in their pizza oven. Crust was thin and perfectly cooked with a lite tomato puree sauce not a heavy tomato paste that…I really dislike. Definitely going back to try their pasta and salads. Very friendly service and good prices. Only one size pizza, I would say medium…enough for the two of us for dinner, only 160 peso/$8.00 with the extra topping.More

Who would expect terrific pizza in Puerto Vallarta. My spouse and I are from Boston and NY, both places have great pizza. Believe it or not this pizzeria is exceptional YES in Mexico! Crust is delicious, sauce has wonderful flavor, pepperoni and sausage were outstanding,…and plentiful. Asked for a cheese shaker and received, not dried, but fresh grated parmesan. And, you must try the coffee. It was served in an attractive glass coffee mugs, fresh and hot, and with frothy cream or milk. One of the owners waited on us, very knowledgeable about food, lived a while in Europe. Please try it – The ambience is wonderful and you can see another owner hand tossing the crust and baking in an authentic wood burning oven.IMPORTANT: They also do good in the community – feeding the homeless. Delicioso!!!More

We went here because of seeing the advertisements in PV Mirror, the very good reviews and it was close to where we were staying. What a mistake. I don’t know what the positive comments were talking about. Our first clue was there was only one…other person there. We did almost walk out twice and wish we would have. We waited about 45 minutes for our food. My husband got the wiener schnitzel and he only took one bite and left the rest. I ordered the chicken and it was ok and did eat most of it. When the waiter came to see if we were done (never checked with us after serving us dinner) he looked at the full plate that was put aside and we told him it was not good. A few minutes later the owner – or I assume the owner- came by to ask how things were. My husband- who never complains told him it was not good or worth even serving. Never saw him do that in over 30 years. He said he just talked to the cook about making it better. Again there was only one other person in the restaurant. Why wasn’t he supervising? He did say he would take the amount off the bill. But no real apology. Also less importance though important, the waiter was just not very good. He was polite but just needed more training and should know English a little better in a place that caters to mainly English speaking tourists.More

The food is excellent, and the pizzas are probably the best you can get in Puerto Vallarta. But the service is lacking. Our server, was extremely nervous and initially we thought he spoke no English as he had to go to another collogue, to explain…some things to our group. We later found out he speaks very good English. Not with standing this the service was slow, and two items on the menu we were considering were not available. That evening two of us had an order of mussels each, however about 1/3 were unopened. We were however offered an addition half order. We were a group of five and the only ones in the restaurant, however it took for ever to bring our orders to the table. But as stated it was worth the wait as the food was very good. Not sure what the problem is, but the place seems very disjointed, with perhaps the staff not getting adequate training. With a little help in the right direction, this could be a great place to go for something a bit different. We would return.More
