Went to the Big Apple Deli for the first time and unfortunately that will be our last time. Upon entering the deli, the girl behind the counter was busy talking with a co-workers and acted like we were a bother to her. She finally took…our order and we ordered a corned beef sandwich and the turkey breast sandwich to go. We specifically said only the meat, cheese and bread. We both totally despise yellow mustard. When we got back to our condo and opened the wrappers, both sandwiches were doused in yellow mustard. Yuk, yuk, yuk. We scraped off what we could and ate parts of the sandwiches but found the corned beef to be very, very tough and tasteless. Sad to say that we will not be back. Bad service and sub par meats and no attention to details does not make a great deli.More
Having grown up in the NYC metropolitan area I assumed I could not go wrong with a deli called ” The Big Apple”. Was I ever wrong? First thing ordered was Pastrami on rye bread and was told No pastrami but I could get Turkey…as their substitute. The sandwich delivered to me came on wheat bread with 2 small slices of processed turkey meat and 1 small slice of tasteless processed cheese with a very small slice of tomato on one half of the sandwich and none on the other half. Half the sandwich had yellow mustard and the other a pinky tab of mayo. It came with a small tasteless coleslaw & potato salad that adding vinegar & mayo to it did very little to help with flavor. It came with no pickle or chips either. They charged. almost $9(180 pesos) for a very cheap turkey sandwich not worth $2 and my other items ordered being a grill cheese and breakfast bagel we’re also disappointing for the quality & quantity of what you expect from a deli referring to itself as a NYC type deli. Very embarrassing indeed! Two slices of cheap processed turkey and one slice of tasteless cheese and one slice of tomato on half a sandwich with yellow mustard and no mayo on wheat bread as a substitute for having no pastrami or rye bread for the same cost. Are you kidding me! Just outright horrible by whomever made those sandwiches.More
This was my text to my sister after eating lunch at the Big Apple: I found Big Apple Deli in Zona R. Tasty turkey sandwich (no photo but it’s listed on the Uber Eats menu), comes with chips, coleslaw, tea. I followed up with coffee…and cookie. All tasty. They deliver via Uber Eats. This way I can work thru the day without interruption for lunch.More
Apple Deli has excellent coffee. The bagels are fresh with a variety of kinds. My sandwich was scrumptious and I love the outside seating.
Starting buying these Montreal bagels at the Thursday night street fair at the Marina years ago and now every time I’m here, I buy a dozen to take home and immediately freeze. My favorite Jewish bagels in the world–from Mexico no less!
Dove in here to escape our crummy tour for bit of air and just to get away for 30 mins. They have decent coffee and the staff seemed friendly.
The staff is friendly, the food is delightful, and it comes with a strong coffee. It’s now one of our main visits for breakfast.

Been going a few times a week since September for egg/bagel breakfast and great coffee. The staff even helped celebrate my friends birthday with a little cake and song. Last night I took home a fabulous spinach salad. It’s definitely a “go to” place.
The service was great and the price was right. They have some nice outdoor tables. Looking forward to some of their bagels next time.

I stopped by here a couple times while on vacation. Big Apple Deli features lunch sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, Mexican pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, Frappuccino’s and blended drinks, and some coffee beans for sale. The pastrami sandwich I had was ok, but not great. It…came with some potato chips and cole slaw which were delicious. Another trip I came for a iced latte and a pastry. The pastries are self serve. The iced latte was well made. I took the pastries back to my apartment and warmed them up. There were delicious! The staff was very friendly. The boys working were very cute. Big Apple features free wifi, lots of seating, outlets and usb outlets, and tables outside.More
This little restaurant exceeded my expectations, as a fellow lover of NYC this had an amazing replica vibe. The staff were amazing and kind and made sure my sandwich met my dietary restrictions! Had a great Decaf Latte and we brought some decaf beans so they could grind them for us. Everyone was super friendly and the service was quick.
It is so nice to find a real NY style deli in Puerto Vallarta! Great bread, bagels, donuts, homemade soups and more. The breakfast bagel sandwiches (avocado yum!) for breakfast with great coffee, and of course the deli sandwiches (rueben) amazing to get in PV!
