We came in November with a party of 8 ( 4 couples). We asked the owner if we could have 4 checks by couple. He said no but they will help us by taking four credit cards. However, when we received the bill, they did…not help us separate by couple. We had to spend 15 minutes pulling out calculators trying to get it to balance ourselves. Unfortunately, there was a large discrepancy between couples over food/beverage amount, so we could not just divide 4 ways, An enjoyable evening ended on a sour note. 95% of the over 1000 restaurants in Puerto Vallarta will separate checks. So unless this owner does not want a party more than one couple, he might want to review his rules.More
I heard good things about this place but unfortunately I met the owner who made an escene in front of us, the customers. I don’t value owners who are rude with their staff and I won’t return to this place. I had a cannoli that…was not good. I don’t recomend this place.More
When you can’t decide between Mexico and Italy…Do both! One of my personal favorite Italian restaurants in Puerto Vallarta is definitely Pizzeria Fiamma in Versalles. Don’t let the name throw you off, this quaint little restaurant set in an uniquely decorated outdoor garden serves some…of the best AUTHENTIC homemade pasta around! Portions are huge, pasta is perfection, and the service is fantastic! The owner, Marco, is delightfully charming and makes you feel like part of the family. Pasta specials change nightly, but I would definitely recommend the arugula burrata salad, focaccia, puttanesca di mare, and the salmone capperi. And regardless of how full you are, thinking there is no way you can eat another bite… You MUST find room for a homemade cannoli! I can guarantee you it is the absolute best in all of Mexico. Served with an espresso and shot of sambuca; DELIZIOSO! Pizzeria Fiamma… proof that you can have real Italian in real Mexico. ???????? ????????More
Set in the courtyard of a neighborhood home, this pizza and pasta restaurant is great. The owner and his staff are attentive, the food is delicious, the cocktails and wine round out this ideal casual restaurant.
Four of us went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was our first time. We were greeted by the owner. What a great guy! I would go back just to talk with him. The food was amazing. We started with the huge prosciutto salad. Incredible….The home made bread was also very good. My wife had salmon which she loved. I had the ravioli bolognese. Great flavor. If you order the spaghetti de Mar you better be very hungry!! Amazing portions. The teramisu desert was excellent. The Sambuca for desert really hit the spot. All I can say is-go here. You will not be disappointed!!!!More
In an upscale residential neighborhood near Costco, this restaurant delivers. The pizza is outstanding. Traditional thin crust with quality toppings. If you like shellfish, go with the Marinara and you will not be disappointed. Also, the primavera salad is a great starter and large enough…for two. The fruit & cheese plate and the charcuterie plate are also winners. The pricing is very fair, and the service is excellent. Good live music most nights with an owner/manager who is “hands on” to ensure everything is A+. He succeeds.More
We have been planning to try this restaurant for some time now. They don’t take reservations for parties less than 6. It does fill up quickly after opening. We started we some pre dinner drinks of wine and Aperol Spritz. Service was very good and…informative. Our food of salmon pasta and a couple pizzas was extremely good. Decor is striking and beautifully laid out. Don’t judge this place from the street as it’s surprises once you enter. My only negative about this restaurant is the prices. Both parties thought they were high. Some pizzas were reasonably priced though.More
A unique experience. Restaurant is in a courtyard with painted mural walls. Pizzas and pastas are excellent. The nightly specials are delish. Italian owner is warm and welcoming.
It’s only out of a sense of civic duty that I’m reviewing this restaurant — it’s so good I want to keep it to myself, but I feel morally obligated to let the world know about this wonderful restaurant. The food is terrific, the owner…incredibly charming, the music (Tuesday night is a breathtakingly talented classical guitarist) is fantastic, and the general ambiance just puts you in a good mood. It’s also a great place for people watching — a fascinating mix of Mexicans and foreigners, of all ages.More
We were two couples longing for great Italian food and live music and we found both ! What a wonderful gem Fiamma is, tucked away in a decorated courtyard on a quiet street in Versalles. The unusual murals of Italian street scenes, the top notch…service ( personalized by Marco himself at every table), the beautiful classical music that night, the delicious authentic pasta dishes we sampled, and generally the wonderful ambience all made for a memorable evening. If we closed our eyes, we might have thought we were in Italy ! We are going back again with more friends this week !More
What a perfect, fabulous, charming place. Food was terrific! You need to order a pizza, even if only for an appetizer – spectacular. The Owner is everyone’s waiter and delightful. We only went to one place twice on our trip, and this was it!!!
Best Italian specials and best pizza in PV. This is coming from a local ex-pat who loves bussetta, pizza and excellent service, owner Marco is always around and treats you like family, courtyard dining with a cozy feel and live chill music every time I…have been here, violin gals are a real treat if they happen to be playing. It’s off the beaten path but worth the trip. Viva Fiamma!!!More
If you want a genuine Italian experience, THIS IS THE PLACE. Marco and his team team deliver outstanding personal service and homemade everything. Walk through the gates and you will feel like you’re in Tuscany.
We had pizza. Was good. Was a night without much of a breeze so it was warm. Nice customer service. Generous with the wine portions
Very delicious traditional Italian food. Both my friend and I shared the Spinach salad, garlic bread & the margarita pizza. Everything was cooked perfectly. When we received our check they gave us a complimentary Sambuca with coffee beans! Our dinner cost $300 pesos for amazing…quality food. If your ever in Versalles and your looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place!More
