Very good cold drinks, great nachos and friendly staff. I would stop again if I was in the area. A lot of TV’s for good viewing.
Staying at Villa del Palmar for 6 weeks makes for a great vacation and one of the reasons is due to the wonderful staff. I want to mention one in particular, Francisco, head of food and beverage. A young man, fairly new to the resort,…has been friendly and always eager to make sure that you as a member or guest are happy. He always speaks when he sees you and quite often he will stop and talk. If you are at our resort make sure you say hi to Francisco. Thanks Francisco for going above and beyond. RonMore
While staying at Villa del mar we often visit the Jalisco sports bar for drinks and karaoke. In talking to customers we have found mixed reviews. Some people think the food is great although they may complain about the service and how long it takes…to get your food. Last night four of us decided to go for dinner and drinks. I must say that we were pleasantly surprised. We sat at a table and within a very short period of time Juan our waiter came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. After we got our drinks we ordered. It seemed no time that our food was delivered to our table by Jorge the manager of the bar. He was pleasant and asked if we needed anything else. Juan as well as Jorge came back Several times to make sure that we were happy with our meal. Doing our meal I noticed that the bar manager Juan was very busy delivering food to a lot of different tables big smile on his face and being pleasant to everyone. When we were finished we asked for the bill and it was brought promptly. The food was excellent and hot. We had onion rings, BLT sandwich, wings, and chicken tenders with wedges. If you happen to be in the area , stop bye and try some of their food , have a drink and remember that while you’re on vacation these folks are trying to make a living serving you.More

Service has deteriorated at this restaurant since last year . Been going to the resort where this restaurant is located since the early 90’s and we were very happy a couple of years ago when they opened this sports bar up and have gone to…it frequently since it opened and we usually had good experience at our visits which were typically made to watch Canadian sports as this bar has access to Canadian satellite. However this year we went twice by and on both occasions the waitresses ignored us when we walked in and only acknowledged us after we got up from out table to ask them if they could bring us a menu-at our most recent visit we actually had to clean our own table and get our own napkins and cutlery. This year we went to the restaurant twice and at the first visit it took over an hour and half to get our food order and the second time it took 2 hours and 10 minutes. We were not alone as many other restaurant patrons were in the same boat and complaining to the manager. We will be back at the resort in March and we are already planning to watch March Madness at one of the many sports bars in PV which are a short ,inexpensive cab ride away where the food is better , drinks are cheaper and service is great . Not only that ,at most of the other sports bars in town they will try actually make an effort to find the game you want to watch which , for some unknown reason ,is something that is very difficult to do at this place .More
Food was really good, service was awesome. Price was good as well. Its a sports bar so lots of TVs playing with lots of sports represented.
Bar usually has happy hours and food specials. Burger nights, taco nights – all good food for reasonable price. Same with the drinks – good drinks at reasonable prices. Host a Super Bowl party each year that sells out. Lots of sports! Good free wifi
This is the only restaurant/bar that stays open late. Fun decor, young staff, and good food and drinks. Good music too.
Enjoy watching games, have a beer. wings, hamburger so on in great A/C sports bar. Stay awhile or just grab something quick.
Not sure why other reviews.. the sports bar was the cheapest and best food on resort with great daily specials. Ribs, rib eye and wings were excellent..it was definitely affordable the week we were not all inclusive…David was super waiter!
We were looking for something casual and close to our hotel. We didn’t realize that it’s part of the all inclusive Villa Del Mar resort and I’m sure that’s why the prices were so high. The service was excellent and the food was good but…we were surprised that it was one our most expensive meals in PV!! They charged us $5 USD for a bottle of water! If you’re staying in the hotel and it’s part of your meal plan then it’s fine but otherwise not really worth it.More
Nothing fancy but good food in a great place to watch a game. The burgers are excellent and the chicken wings are huge. They also have very good daily specials
I first went here when I stayed at Villa del Palmar. It is in their complex. It is an OK sports bar that isn’t bad, or that memorable. I have stopped in a couple of times when I happen to be walking down the sidewalk…in that area. Has a pool table. Nothing special.More
We are staying here and decided to try the special one evening. We were pleasantly surprised! For 299 pesos we had 2 burgers with fries, an order of chicken tenders also with fries, and 2 beers. That seems like a lot of food, and it…was. It was served hot and the burgers had all the trimmings with a very yummy bun. Everything was delicious! The service was fine and we were able to watch sporting events on multiple TVs as well. We recommend it. Only drawback was the noise, but it was a sports bar!More
Went to catch up with the kids watching the game. It was busy and service not at its best. Ordered calamari. It was Ok but the potato wedges that came with it were great Cold beer and a cheering crowd made it fun.
